A week away from the kickstarter scene, but it looks like we didn't miss much. Instead of trying to throw any old project here, I've decided to just limit each section to two projects that actually caught and kept my attention.

Digital Pledge - $15, Physical Pledge - $15
A dark, cyberpunk comic by Jason Shawn Alexander. The grungy artwork drew me in and the promise of a dark, seductive story around a former military spy and the confrontation of her, now undead, past kept me paying attention.

Occam's Laser
Digital Pledge - $5, Physical Pledge - $10
I've always been a sucker for any story around the fall of man and rise of machines, which led me to this project. It's from a new face in the comic industry and a short comic at 24 pages, but the initial artwork looks good and $5 isn't much when you may get a good story out of it.

Dragon Tides

Okay... I am a Jackie Chan fan which means I'm naturally a Bruce Lee fan, so this was a no-brainer for me to include. While a Jackie Chan appearance would have immediately sold it without further thought, the miniatures, artwork, components, and otherwise general appearance of the game look amazing. Various video demos are available at the kickstarter page.

Rocket Race
Physical Pledge - 10 euro
2 - 6 players
A deck building game where you construct your own moon rocket from weird science devices. Your goal is to build a reliable moon rocket and attempt a launch, by rolling dice, to be the first one to the moon. The card artwork looks great, which helps bring it to the table and get some play time. You can find some reviews and the PDF of rules at the kickstarter page.
