If you enjoy getting mail as much as I do, you need to subscribe to Loot Crate. Loot Crate is a monthly subscription box designed specifically for geeks. The crates primarily consist of toys, small household items, and t-shirts, and usually the contents of the box would cost way more separate than in the neatly-crafted package the Loot Crate team has designed. While you’ll probably want to keep most of the gear for yourself, if you don’t like an item, you can always use it as a stocking stuffer or other holiday gift. Also, the boxes can be used for creating your own crates on birthdays, anniversaries, or other events.

If you’re hesitant to spend nearly $20 on goods you’re not even sure about, I suggest waiting until Loot Crate announces a theme. If you generally like the fandoms associated with that theme, then get the box. Usually, the themes I have been excited for have been the boxes that I was the most pleased with; themes I’m less excited for, I usually like less. And customer service at Loot Crate is outstanding, so if you ever have a broken or missing item, want to change your subscriptions, or other issues, they get back to your emails in no time.
